Solutions For Every Need

Our Solutions

A financial plan worth having starts with a conversation worth having. Before any strategy is built, the most important work is understanding what your life looks like right now, what you want it to look like down the road, and what's standing between the two. Everything else is built around that picture.

Financial Planning

Where do you want your family to be ten years from now — and what needs to happen between now and then to get there?

Holistic financial planning starts with a simple but powerful premise: every aspect of your financial life is connected. Your investment strategy affects your tax picture. Your tax picture affects your estate plan. Your estate plan affects how wealth transfers to the next generation. A plan that addresses only one or two of them will always leave something important on the table.

As CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals, we follow the rigorous planning process established by the CFP Board — beginning with truly understanding your situation and goals before a single recommendation is ever made. Vanguard's Advisor Alpha research suggests that working with a skilled financial advisor can add approximately 3% in net returns annually — not simply through investment selection, but through behavioral coaching, tax efficiency, and disciplined planning compounded over time.

We don't measure success by what happened last quarter. We measure it by whether your family is meaningfully closer to where you want to be — financially independent, protected, and prepared for the moments that matter most.

Asset Management

Is your money positioned to work as hard as you do — and is it built for where you're headed, not just where you've been?

Asset management and portfolio design aren't two separate conversations — they're two sides of the same discipline. Before a single dollar gets invested, we take the time to understand your goals, your timeline, your comfort with risk, and the full picture of your financial life. That foundation drives every decision that follows.

As a Chartered Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) — a designation held by a small minority of investment professionals and requiring rigorous advanced study in portfolio theory, risk measurement, and investment analytics — we bring an institutional-level depth to the design of your portfolio. That means determining which assets belong in which accounts for maximum tax efficiency, evaluating the cost structure of every holding, and ensuring the strategy coordinates seamlessly with your broader financial plan. When those pieces work together, the portfolio becomes a purposeful tool — not just a collection of accounts.

Managing it over time means staying disciplined when markets make it tempting not to. Short-term fluctuations are a distraction from what actually matters: whether your portfolio is keeping pace with your goals over a ten-year horizon or longer. That's the lens we bring to every annual review — not "how did we do this year?" but "are we on track, and does anything need to change?"

Divorce Financial Planning

Divorce is one of the most financially consequential decisions a person can make — and one of the least understood.

The legal process of divorce moves quickly, and the financial implications of decisions made within it can last a lifetime. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), we bring a specialist's understanding of the full financial landscape of divorce — from asset division and tax consequences to retirement planning and long-term financial sustainability.

We start by building a complete picture of your financial life as it stands today, then model what it looks like after the divorce based on the terms of your Marital Settlement Agreement. What looks fair on paper doesn't always translate to financial security down the road, and we make sure you understand the difference before anything is signed.

We also coordinate the team of professionals you may need throughout the process — attorneys, accountants, and appraisers — ensuring everyone is working from the same financial foundation and nothing falls through the cracks.

Divorce is already one of life's most stressful seasons. Our goal is to make the financial side of it more navigable, so that when the process is over, you're stepping into the next chapter on solid financial ground.

Estate Planning

When the time comes, will what you've built go where you intend?

For families who have spent years building something meaningful, estate planning isn't just about documents — it's about making sure the right people are protected, the right structures are in place, and as little as possible is lost to taxes, costs, or confusion along the way.

As a CFP® professional with extensive educational background in estate planning, we help clients organize their thinking before a single legal document is drafted. That means walking through your full picture — your assets, your family dynamics, your wishes — and helping you understand the risks and options specific to your situation. What are you trying to protect? Who are you trying to protect it for? And what's the most tax-efficient and cost-effective way to get there?

While we are not estate planning attorneys, we know the landscape well enough to help you arrive at those conversations prepared. When the time comes to bring an attorney into the process, we help identify the right one for your situation and walk them through exactly what we're trying to accomplish — so the legal work reflects a plan that's already been thoughtfully designed.

Getting this right while everything is fine is always better than leaving it for someone else to sort out later.

Tax Planning

The goal isn't to reduce your taxes this year. The goal is to reduce the total taxes you pay over your lifetime.

Most people think about taxes one year at a time. We think about them across a lifetime — because the decisions you make today, sometimes decades in advance, can have an enormous impact on how much of your wealth ultimately stays in your family's hands and how much goes to Uncle Sam.

Our approach to tax planning is proactive, forward-looking, and fully integrated with your broader financial plan. That means monitoring your marginal tax bracket year after year, identifying windows where a Roth conversion strategy makes sense, and building a foundation of tax-free growth that compounds over a lifetime. It also means planning ahead for the tax complexities that come with retirement — because by the time most people encounter them, the best opportunities to address them have already passed.

Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) are one of the most overlooked planning challenges we see. When RMDs begin, they can push income into higher tax brackets, trigger surcharges on Medicare premiums through IRMAA, and cause a greater portion of Social Security income to become taxable. These aren't hypothetical risks — they're predictable ones, which means they're plannable ones. The question we ask our clients is simple: what can we do today, while there's still time, to keep these problems from compounding down the road?

Central to this conversation is what tax expert Ed Slott calls the "Income Tax Time Bomb" — the traditional IRA. For many families, a large IRA balance feels like wealth. In reality, it's a tax IOU that grows alongside your savings, deferred until the IRS is ready to collect. Understanding that distinction, and having a strategy to address it, is one of the most valuable things we do for our clients.

As a member of Ed Slott's Elite IRA Advisor Groupâ„ , we are required to attend multiple conferences throughout the year and complete extensive continuing education to stay current on the ever-changing landscape of IRA and tax law. It's one of the most rigorous ongoing commitments in our field — and one we take seriously because our clients expect us to know this territory inside and out. Insurance and Protection Planning

A financial plan is only as strong as the foundation it's built on — and protection is that foundation.

Years of careful saving and investing can be undone quickly if the right protections aren't in place. Disability. Death. A long-term care event. These aren't comfortable topics, but they're ones we address directly with every client, because leaving any one of them unprotected is a risk no financial plan can afford to take.

The three pillars we focus on are disability income protection, life insurance, and long-term care insurance. Disability coverage protects your most valuable asset — your ability to earn an income. Life insurance protects the people who depend on it. And for clients over 40, long-term care insurance deserves a serious conversation, because the cost of an extended care event can erode a lifetime of accumulated wealth faster than almost anything else.

Our approach starts with what you already have. Many employer benefits packages offer meaningful group coverage, and maximizing those benefits before layering in private policies is often the smartest and most cost-efficient place to begin. We help you understand exactly what your group coverage provides, where the gaps are, and how private insurance can fill them. Along the way, we walk through the pros and cons of every option — because the goal is for you to make decisions that genuinely fit your family's needs, not simply to add coverage for coverage's sake.

Budgeting for these premiums is a non-negotiable part of the planning process. Protection isn't an afterthought — it's the foundation everything else is built on.
